Recipe Request - Pizza Sauce

I'm looking for a good pizza sauce recipe or brand. I've always just used spaghetti sauce but now that I've perfected my doughs and my cheese, I'm ready to perfect my sauce. I've always loved the chunky tomato light colored sauce of Numero Uno Pizza for those of you that have had that and know what I'm thinking of.... SO, click on the comments and send me your recommendations. I don't care if it comes out of a jar....all the easier! =0) If it's fabulous, I want to know about it! THANKS ahead of time!

I just came across a pizza sauce recipe (have not tried it, yet). This one comes from Healthy Foods by Leanne Ely:

"Roasted Garlic Pizza Sauce"
-1 bulb roasted garlic, squeeze roasted garlic to taste
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 can plum tomatoes, 28 oz.
-1 teaspoon honey
salt and pepper to taste

In a saucepan, crush tomatoes with a potato masher, add remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil. Let simmer on low for about 20 minutes.

*if you're interested, she gives some quick instructions on roasted garlic. Just let me know.

Whoever tries this recipe first will have to report on it!

I use Trader Joe's Pizza Sauce for my homemade pizzas. I do sprinkle some extra minced garlic and some extra herbs one the pizza after it has been "sauced."
