We are currently out of town unexpectedly but are flying home today. Since it was my husband's birthday while we were gone, I came up with a simple birthday cake solution. Very thinly sliced butter pound cake, homemade whipped cream, and sliced strawberries. Instead of one big cake, every one got their own little pile of this. It was easier than angel food cake even.
