I know this is going to totally gross some of you out but I have to post this funny recipe. I grew

up with my mom making these when I was a kid and I still love it. Mom found it in a healthy eating book (Fit For Life).
And, as crazy as it sounds, it taste really good. You wouldn't think it would but it's surprising....so try it. =0)
1/2 c BBQ Sauce
1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup cauliflower florets
mayo
whole wheat pita pocket
Saute broccoli and cauliflower in the BBQ sauce in a skillet until veggies are tender. Serve on a

pita spread with mayo.
(in the pictures I only had broccoli on hand)

Actually, my son's favorite way to eat broccoli is with BBQ sauce.
You had me until you mentioned mayo. I could totally eat the rest.
That's SO funny! Well, you could surely do without the mayo. =0) hee hee!
I'm with Shannon- skip the mayo and it sounds yummy! I like stuffing lots of veggies in a pita anyway, why not cook them and try it with BBQ sauce? Any particular flavor/brand you like?
This might just be way too healthy for me! Can I just take your word for it that it tastes good? Or maybe I could pair it with a big bag of Doritos? :)
