Aren't these cute? My daughter checked out some fairy, mermaid, and princess cookbooks from the library and we made a few of the recipes. She insisted that I post them on the recipe blog so that when she is a mom she will know how to make them with her daughter. We made these while we were camping so instead of making the cookie dough from scratch with this recipe I resorted to store bought refrigerated dough.

The only other thing you need is cinnamon sugar (combine 1/4 c sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon together) and slivered almonds. Sprinkle the unbaked cookies with the sugar mixture and top with five slivered almonds each in a star pattern. Bake according to recipe directions or label.
