
I was telling a friend of mine that I recently started cooking my veggies in the crock pot because of the convenience and also how well they turn out. I filled this crock with whole red potatoes, baby carrots and chopped celery pieces and cooked them on low all day. I didn't loose nutrients through water or steam. It was great to have these cooked veggies read to serve with butter as a side dish or to add to my meal after a long days work.
