Cream Cheese Frosting

12 oz of cream cheese
1 c softened butter
4 tsp vanilla
4 c sifted powdered sugar (or more if needed)

Beat cream cheese and butter till smooth. Add vanilla and gradually add sugar while beating well. Add as much sugar as needed to make frosting smooth for spreading. This will be a thick frosting in the end.

This frosting goes well with any type of pumpkin cake or muffins as well.
