I was asked about making homemade pizza so I decided to give pizza it's own category to the left. Now you can click on pizza and see my past pizza posts. To go directly to them, click here.
Yes, I do buy frozen pizza from time to time. I know they aren't "healthy" but they are my way of saving money when we have those days where we are tempted to order a pizza. Most moms have "bad days" for one reason or another and calling the pizza man used to be my crutch for dinner plans gone haywire (and all the times I try a new recipe and it doesn't turn out!). And you've probably noticed how expensive it is to order pizza for delivery these days! So, I buy the Digiorno Pizza from Costco. It comes in a 3 pack for about $11. One pizza feeds our whole family which means we can feed our whole family an "emergency dinner" for a whopping $3.66. And yes, I cringe every time at the ingredients we are consuming but when I consider that my family is FED that's priceless right?

MMMM. So much more flavor and we (family of 5) usually have some left. It will make 2 pizzas in my rectangle pans. When we had frozen pizza, I had to cook 3 and there were never leftovers.
Now you've made me hungry for pizza - thank goodness it's on our menu this week.
