How would you suggest packaging it as a gift?

LOVE this idea! So much better than buying a packet of overpriced taco seasoning!

Craft supply stores usually carry an assortment of glass bottles and containers for mixing oils or dressings and they would also work well for taco seasoning as well.

Or you could purchase mini clear bags from the craft store (some even come with adhesive that seal) and put 2 tbsp of seasoning in each to make an actual "one use packet". Print labels on the computer and stick them on the front of each bag.

I've been wanting to try making my own taco seasoning--I'll be giving this recipe a try!
