This is a new product that I got recently. I've always wanted one of those (okay 4 of those) nifty silpats that Martha Stewart has. You know the ones that cost $20 each!
Then one day I saw this at Target....it's made by Wilton and it's a silicone baking mat. I think I paid $11 for it but AMAZON has it for $9.99.
It truly is wonderful! I use it every time I use a cookie sheet. Nothing sticks to it. It's easy to wash and is more cost effective than buying parchment paper.
Best part is, it's very flexible, unlike the silpats...so I can easily roll it up tight and store it in the drawer with the foil and cling wrap.
And that's my Favorite Gadget Thing for this month! See ya Monday!

Maybe it's all in the brand. I bought some from Walmart before (I don't remember the name but they were red) and they were awful to clean. The cookies left brown circle stains on them and no matter how much I scrubbed them they never seemed clean again. I ended up tossing them.
I have been meaning to try one of these! Now I really need to. Sounds great!
Good to know - thanks. I have loved parchment paper recently, but have felt bad about the expense and just throwing it out. I'll look into these!
