4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
I used all organic ingredients hoping that would make me feel better about it in a healthy sense. Hey, at least there isn't refined sugar in it, right?
Mix together in a pot on the stove stirring or whisking so that it doesn't scald. Once blended and hot, pour into mugs. (Using a canning funnel helps with the pouring.) Serve when hot with marshmallows or whipping cream....or hey, both!
Oh, and you have to use your cutest hot chocolate mugs of course!
Looking for a crazy good mocha drink? Look no further. And whatever you do, DO NOT try to guess the calories in this drink!

delicious! We like to add a little vanilla to ours too :)
I second adding the vanilla. Don't forget a dash or two of cinnamon!
We use honey instead of sugar. It's really good and I can't tell the difference. I'm sure it's just as fattening, though!
I love homemade cocoa! What sugar do you use?
Jessica,
how much honey to how much chocolate do you use?
Drew,
I use the organic sugar from Costco. The brand is called Wholesome Sweeteners. It's Evaportaed Cane Juice.
I hear that rapidura is just as good.
Hope this helps.
